Falling in the Gap

At last, it is here. The day that my family is insured once again. When deciding to quite my position at FBCS I took a huge risk as I did not have a replacement job to releave the worries of financial concern. But more pressing on my mind was the gap that was quickly approaching-the day that my family would no longer have a health insurance plan. July 30th came and we entered the dreaded gap. Fortunately at that point I knew insurance would be coming again as I was hired on with the LUSD staff. Through prayer and trust in God, we made it through the gap unscathed. But at some point during the gap a major health issue did arise, but was subsided until coverage could answer some questions. On August 4th, I discovered that I was pregnant...again. Baby Lake #3 was waiting for her announcement debut but had to wait until confirmation could be made for certain. And so today, Brandon and I, on the first day of coverage, celebrated by visiting the gynecologist and learning that I was not 12 weeks along as thought, but 15 weeks. It is going to be a fun adventure as we hear the pitter patter of little feet in three-fold. Officially making the Lake couple outnumbered by children. God has been faithful in providing for all of our needs, and I know he will continue to do so. We rejoice in our new little miracle and know that God has a plan for her little life just as he has a plan for all of us.

"For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
