Blood levels fall

Whew, that was a close one. Miss Little Lake has finally started to drop. Last Friday she was at the crucial 1.5 and Monday a 1.46. NO BLOOD TRANSFUSION! If things continue like this I may just get to have another 9 pound baby. Not gonna lie, that does not sound appealing-but I am so relieved she is healthy. Her little body is fighting off the virus, did I mention that I am slightly anemic now? Yep, my body is giving her my iron. Such a true testament of a mother's love! Good to know why I am ridiculously tired recently.

I must have bounced into work on Tuesday, it felt like so much weight had been removed from my shoulders. My principal even came into my room just to see if I was there as we all didn't know what to expect (I packed my work laptop in my hospital bag in case I needed to contact a sub on the spot)

I am humbled by all the prayer, love and support my family has felt including the surprise baby shower in a basket that my bible study threw together on the if chance she should arrive early. But no baby for now, and fingers crossed, no baby until the end of March. 6 more weeks....6 more weeks....until then, I will still be closely monitored with two NST's a week and another trek to Sacramento on Tuesday to ensure the continued health of this kiddo. In the meantime our house is pretty close to baby ready with the impromptu expectations of last week.

Hannah even woke Brandon up yesterday telling him: "Daddy, I am so excited?" Why? "Because (insert baby's name) is coming out to play with me!" It's true, we are all ready to meet her, I am ready to not be pregnant, but we are ever so thankful that she is going to enter this world as healthy as her siblings did. Thank you to everyone who participated in praying for this miracle. The Lord has heard our prayers and answered them!
