What can I say...she's a fighter!

Everyone take a deep sigh of relief. We are at 32 weeks and out of the immediate danger zone.

Today's doctor appointment was encouraging. Although Little Miss's blood levels are still anemic, she is still showing no signs of hydropsy, which means that her body is compensating for her fluid levels. Her immunities are trying to take on the virus, and should she succeed, she will not only be immune, but will be able to be healthy again on her own in two weeks, with a regular delivery. Her heartbeat is slower than it should be, but still steady and healthy. She is moving around and passed her NST today. So, we are praying that her blood levels do not rise by Monday-the date of the scheduled transfusion. Brandon is donating blood on the if chance that he is a match should a transfusion be necessary. My Modesto Dr wants to monitor her closely (2 NST's a week)as she is fighting the virus. HE really wants to keep her in-utero until at least 34 weeks. That sounds much better than next MONDAY! But I am still praying for a miracle, that she can fight it off on her own w/o transfusions or induction.

Keep praying. The whole drive home today God kept encouraging me through the Christian radio with lyrics like "I Might bend but I won't break" "he holds me up when I am weak" "He made me special" etc. Song after song made my smile beam brighter and my faith in him grow stronger. He created HER, he is forming HER, he has a plan for HER and I am grateful to be part of his testimony through HER! Many friends compliment me on my strength through all of this. But friends, let me let you in on a little secret-I am not Strong...I just trust in a God who is!
