In all seriousness I think that EVERY mother should have a daughter. Don't get me wrong, mother's of sons have a special bond of their own, but a mother's bond with her daughter is something not to be messed with. Sons grow up to be men of their own families, but daughters remained attached to their mom. My daughter is my best friend, and she is not even THREE YET! But it melts my heart when she says she wants to "just hang out with mom" or looks at me and says "its just us girls." So cool. I understand that not ALL mother/daughter relationships are the best, but I want to model my relationship with my own daughter the way my mom and I get along. Sure, mom and I have had our moments, but through thick and thin she is the one I want by my side in crisis and joy. I look beyond that to the relationship she had with her mother, one truly extraordinary. And yes, I am convinced that EVERY mother should have a daughter.
