Healthy Baby girl

Matthew 7:7-11

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."

We had our Doctor's appointment this morning in the Women's Health Specialties department just outside Roseville. Dr. Mentakis was very helpful, supportive and informative. As of now, Baby girl Lake is doing splendid with little to no effects caused from the virus. Praise the Lord! Her blood is just below anemic levels at a healthy 2.6, should she rise to a 3 in the next week or so then doctors will start monitoring her more closely, but no blood transfusions seem necessary at this point, and will be held at bay unless she rises to a 5. She is showing no signs of hydropsy which is another good indication that the virus is being held at bay. As for now, she is weighing in at an estimated 3 lbs. 14 ounces and expected to proceed as naturally as possible. Seeing as how the virus can take 4-6 weeks to cause effects I am to have routine appointments weekly in Sacramento to monitor her hydropic levels as well as weekly appointments in Modesto to monitor her heart. It will be a lot of time and travel dedicated to this lil munchkin, I hope she does not get used to being the center of attention so soon.

I want to thank everyone, literally hundreds of people, praying for this little life in formation. She is being cradled in our loving Father's Hands and held up by the thoughts and prayers of people from around the world (Japan and Costa Rica you are on the map!) as well as at least 7 church prayer chains that I am aware of. Brandon and I are truly humbled by the church body that has so quickly surrounded us in prayer in our most dire need. Keep praying for she is has 8 weeks to go, but in my heart of hearts I am at true and indescribable peace, knowing full well that she will be just fine.

Exodus 23:25-26

"And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill."

Psalms 107:19-20

"Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
