Dreamer

Dream: I was walking through a valley and on either side of me were two hills in a circular fashion….one hill was a larger ring, the valley resting beneath it and the other.  hill, a taller yet smaller hill was in the middle of the ring.

As I walked through the valley I was making my way into the larger ringed mountain. The Further I got into the mountain the more chaotic my surroundings became. I realized that I was surrounded by people in masks, A party? The party became darker and darker and I found myself becoming scared. When I tried to return to the valley I found myself facing a door…And I was pleading for someone to open the door as the crowd was beginning to press upon me and weigh me down. The darkness grew heavy and the masks and cards the people were holding became frightening. I remember being so disappointed that no one was coming to save me and then, I got up and opened the door myself and ran straight to the other mountain….surprisingly no longer through the valley but just on the other side of the door.
There, A man, gentle and warm greeted me in his arms and held me fast to his side, I was like an infant being rocked by her father. The Second Mountain was small, yet beautiful. Peaceful like a meadow and few others (in comparison to the other mountain) we there lying down with me. As I lay there, cradled and welcomed, I looked around me and could see the other mountain below me dark and cruel, wicked in comparison and I realized that no body could save me because it was ultimately my choice whether or not I wanted to BE saved. I looked at the man who welcomed me with open arms and asked why he could not come and get me. He told me that the wickedness surrounding me cannot be in his presence and that I had to choose him and he was waiting for me.

John 3:19-21 “Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds are evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

Interpretation #1: I believe that this was a realization and symbolic dream of heaven and salvation. You see, we all walk the path that leads to destruction…that path is a sinful lifestyle, and the further we walk the path, the deeper we get into our own sin. So deep that affects others around us, and begins to suffocate us to the point where we see no way out. Just as the door appeared before me, a door appears before us also. We cannot wait for someone to choose the right path-God for us…we cannot be rescued by anyone because salvation depends on our own choice. You see, there was no “choosing” to go to the wicked mountain, I was just there. We are all born in sin; we stand condemned already…Let’s be real. Which of us is without sin? If we have even but one blemish on our souls we cannot enter into the eternal kingdom. Thus the need for a messiah. Either you are with GOD or you are not…there is NO middle Ground. Until I opened the door in my dream I was not with the Father. Confess your sins, escape the darkness and enter into the peace that surpasses all understanding!

John 3: 16-18 Says “For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes is NOT condemned but whoever does not believe stands condemned ALREADY because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only son.
