My blessings in life
Life with two babies can be challenging but I love it. Sleep has not evaded me too much as I have mastered the art of sleeping while I nurse, in turn Z falls fast asleep while his appetite is being fed. Naps are slowly being scheduled to coincide so that we have a moment or two for ourselves and Zach is being introduced to the bottle as I am steadily bracing myself to return to work. Hannah's laugh and Zach's smiles prove to be my daily highlight. Outings with the two prove challenging as I juggle the babes. Grocery shopping includes two carts (if I am fortunate enough to talk Brandon into joining me) or a kiddo in the basket much to the casting looks of store employees as the cart clearly states in plane picture that this is a preferable No-no. Movies are now watched in half hour segments and I find myself re-winding often to see what I've missed, and I laugh as I try to think of the last one I have seen in a theater. Hot bubble baths have become my favorite passtime, even if I do have a baby monitor on the counter. Social outings are limited to those friends with Kids (rare ocasions) and the faithful two who are willing to come to my home because their kids are too old to care. Our prius has quickly become a not so friendly-family vehicle for the car seats have stolen the entire back seat making it impossible for the five of us to ride in the same vehicle leagally. My appreciation for my husband increass with every simple act of love from disposing diapers to a load of laundry even if they are rare and few. My understanding and appreciation of God's unconditional love continues to press upon me as I pass the same compassion onto the to heirs of my earthly kingdom. My prayers have intensified as I plead for wisdom in rearing these two precious ones entrusted to me.
